Workout Plan:
In addition to playing basketball and volleyball in her bachcha days, Shraddha used to win 100-meter running contests. She loves scuba diving and finds it very adventurous. That’s why, she has flawless beauty and figure.
Doing exercises on everyday basis is something which Shraddha Kapoor feels is very necessary to keep a well-toned body.
The way to deal with laziness, according to Shraddha, is to mix a boring exercise session with some activity of one’s choice.
“Fitness is fun, so I sometimes go in for yoga and sometimes other activities. I work out daily for two hours. I am playing a character of a basketball player in my next film Half Girlfriend, so I also need to practice for that,” said Shraddha before the release of her film Half Girlfriend.
One of her techniques to stay fit is to dance daily. “I shut myself in a room, play loud music and dance for hours till my feet give up. As I already have a lean body, I don’t need to put in a lot of effort to keep fit.”
Even when Shraddha is on a holiday, she doesn’t miss out on her exercise “I make sure I dance one or two hours a day even on a holiday. Yes there are few days when you feel that you don’t want to do anything but I still step up and do it.”
Cardio workouts, strength training and interval training are her GYM-HAVES.
Diet Plan:
On the dieting front, the Aashiqui 2 actress said in an interview with Filmfare Magazine, “I follow a balanced diet, which includes grilled vegetables, egg, fish and fruit juices.”
Homemade food is what she loves. Says she “I try to avoid oily, junk, high fat and unhealthy foods, and like to incorporate high fibre and high protein food items in my diet. I never delay my dinner past 8 pm because I’m asleep by 11 pm.”
Vegan food is what the actress shraddha mostly relishes. Why but? Because it is high on protein and is beneficial for those working out on a regular basis.
Her schedule of meals is like so “Sometimes, I eat a protein bar. I try to eat 1.5 hours before my workout and eat whatever I feel like but mainly some food that will give me energy. And post workout, I try to eat as much protein and vegetables as I can.”
What is the source of shraddha’s fitness approach? Her father – Shakti Kapoor.
“Papa has always maintained himself, so we always had healthy food cooked at home and everyone is health conscious,” said Shraddha.
Can you beat it – Shraddha never went to gym till she went teenage “I was always involved in sports right from my school days. I always took part in athletics. These games are challenging and necessary for an active body.”
Breakfast: Normally, it is Poha or Upma for Shraddha. Once a week, the actress also takes egg whites or an egg white omelette.
Lunch: 3-4 rotis, green veggies and a bowl of dal.
Dinner: Along with other components, dinner for Shraddha includes 2 slices of whole wheat bread or brown rice and 1 piece of grilled fish. Additionally, she also snacks every two hours to keep up her metabolism.
